7. My Religion/Caste/Mother tongue/Occupation is not listed in the registration form. What should I do?

8. Are there any specific DOs and Don'ts while Registering?

9. How long is the membership valid?
The membership is valid till you inform us to delete your profile from our database.

10. Who is eligible for laxmimatrimony membership?
All prospective men and women who are eligible for marriage under the laws of there country they are residing in. The final decision will be by laxmimatrimony.com office.

11. I do not want to display my photo. Can I still register with you?
Generally, we ask that you send us a photo. But if you wish not to, that is OK.

12. forgot my Matrimony ID / Password. What should I do?

Visit http://www.laxmimatrimony.com

Click on the "Forgot Password" link in the home page and enter your "E-mail address" or "Matrimony ID". Your "Matrimony ID" and "Password" will be mailed to you immediately.
Your Email address should be the one given in your profile.

13. Can I choose my own Matrimony ID?
Every Matrimony ID is unique and is allocated by the system. You cannot choose your own matrimony ID since it is system generated. It cannot be changed under any circumstances.

14. I'm registering for my sister/brother and me. Can we both have the same Matrimony ID?
A matrimony id identifies each person uniquely. Please register separate profiles for you and your sibling.

15. What should I enter in the profile description field?
This is where you reveal yourself - your personality, your likes and dislikes, your educational and family background, career and personal interests, and expectations about your partner. Try to give a clear self-description and enter your expectations clearly and completely. A good description will always fetch instant responses. Look at the sample profile below, which is clear, brief and has all the important details in a well-organized manner.

Example: I am a friendly, fun-loving person. I have a pleasing personality. I did my Bachelors in Dental Surgery. I am working as an associate doctor in a private clinic for the past 3 years in Chennai. My hobbies are listening to music (any kind of music, whichever is soothing) and travelling.

We have an open minded, religious family. Father is a retired Asst. Engineer. from U.P state government and mother is a religious, simple, loving and caring house wife. I have two brothers- both elder and married. Elder one is an Engineer in Indian Air Force. Younger one is employed in a reputed glass factory.
